Our Story
Founder Byron White’s two-decade journey covers multiple startups that eventually led to Golf Pilot and Club Pilot—the next frontier for innovation!

Make the World a Better Place
Every industry hides inefficiencies waiting to be fixed with creativity, technology, and a bit of strategic rebellion. Our first mission was simple: Make life smarter, better, faster, and wiser—one tip at a time!
LifeTips
We launched LifeTips in the dot-com beginning with 120,000 tips and 300+ podcasts to drive traffic and sponsorship revenue. Takeaway: When you empower creators, transformation begins.
Navigating Troubled Waters
In business, friction reveals opportunity. When growth stalls, the answer is rarely to push harder—it’s to pivot faster, smarter, and with purpose. That mindset carried us into our next chapter.
Content 6
Content 6 launched to help brands tell better stories with optimized content powered by our WordVision analytics platform. Takeaway: The tension between humans and technology was beginning… and that tension creates breakthroughs.
Limitations and Opportunity
Every successful company reaches a crossroads where clients need more and operations can’t keep up. When you clearly see what’s broken, it becomes impossible not to imagine something better. That clarity sparked our boldest transformation.
WriterAccess
WriterAccess launched—a marketplace connecting brands with expert freelance writers and editors. It exploded from zero to 40,000 customers and earned nine consecutive spots on the Inc. 5000 list. Takeaway: When a model scales, it changes the entire industry it serves.
Growth Required for Exit
Entrepreneurs dream of a profitable exit, but dreams require discipline: hiring well, learning constantly, and leading relentlessly. Sustainable 30–50% annual growth isn’t pure luck—it’s getting the right people to do the right thing at the right time, and a bit of luck.
Content Marketing Conference
Content Marketing Conference, launched in 2012 to support our community of creators and clients, helped cement our leadership—ultimately leading to the sale of WriterAccess. Takeaway: Growth fuels opportunity, and opportunity fuels reinvention.
Opportunity for Betterment
Success brought new freedom—time to play more golf. But planning games surfaced inefficiencies: chaotic group texts, pencil scorecards, endless planning friction. And serving on the club board revealed how difficult it is to reach and rally members. Golf Pilot was born, and the team was re-assembled to take on these challenges with innovative solutions.
Golf Pilot and Club Pilot
Golf Pilot first launched with an all-in-one app for golfers to plan and play more golf with less fuss and more fun. But we quickly learned that noone wants to pay for an app, so we expanded our offering for clubs to join the new mobile-first ecosystem for superior service to members.
